I do have to oil it often, which is a bit annoying, but it’s not a big deal. It’s easy enough to do, so I don’t really mind keeping up with it

The finish is really smooth, so it feels great in my hand. It has a nice texture, which makes it easy to hold without feeling slippery. You can tell some care went into making it, and because of that I’m really happy with it.

I’ve had my Earlywood spoon and spatula for a while now, and I keep noticing the same thing every time I use them: they still look and feel really solid. No cracks, no weird rough patches, and no signs of getting worn down, even after a lot of cooking and hand washing. They have a nice sturdy feel without being too heavy, which I appreciate more than I expected. Compared to the cheaper wooden utensils I’ve bought before, the difference is obvious. Those always seemed to start getting rough or splitting after a while, but these have stayed in great shape. Really glad I got them.

I picked up a set of wooden spoons from Earlywood and I’m really impressed. They feel so nice in the hand, with smooth edges and a good, sturdy weight to them. You can tell they weren’t just tossed together, there’s real care in the craftsmanship. I took one star off because one of the spoons had a small darker mark that I wasn’t expecting, but it’s really not a big deal. I still use them almost every day, and they feel like they’re going to hold up for years.

The stuff is nice overall, but shipping took longer than I expected. It also kind of works when it wants to, which is frustrating. Not totally disappointed, but I wish the whole experience had been smoother.

After a few hand washes, the wood started looking dry and slightly fuzzy, which was disappointing. They’re not terrible and I’ll still use them, but they didn’t feel as high quality as they looked in the photos. I probably wouldn’t buy them again unless the quality improves

The board itself is okay, but the engraving was WAY lighter than I expected and didn’t look very clean. I was hoping the personal touch would feel special, but it seemed a bit rushed

The box arrived completely crushed, like some genius decided to sit on it or toss it around like a football. Annoying, honestly. Not exactly what you want to see when your order shows up.

I’ve been using this pretty much every day since, I think, late last month or maybe the month before, and it’s super comfy. Nothing fancy to complain about, just easy to use and comfortable enough that I keep reaching for it.

I didn’t really expect to think much about it, but that’s kind of the point, it’s just easy to use every day. Like, I’ll be doing one thing, remember I need to use it, and it doesn’t turn into a whole project. No overthinking, no digging around. It just fits in, which I appreciate more than I thought I would.

I ordered from earlywooddesigns.com because I was really into how clean and simple everything looked. The wood colors are gorgeous in that low-key way, not glossy or trying too hard, just sitting on the counter looking suspiciously perfect.
The pieces feel handmade but not sloppy, which I appreciate. The shapes are a little different from the usual kitchen stuff, and I’m half convinced big kitchenware companies don’t want us knowing how much better simple wooden pieces can look. Either way, they look great in my kitchen and I’m happy I bought them.
